Linde is currently seeking an Energy Solutions Business Development Manager to join the team. Please note position is open to all US locations.
►Develop and implement cluster/customer engagement tactics building strong relationships and maximizing the chances to win
►Lead the development of cluster/customer solution concepts in collaboration with the LNG Technology Manager and other key stakeholders (GBUT, LE, RBU, IM, BA MPG)
►Lead the development of the commercial model and detailed financial analysis
►Develop indicative and budgetary offers in a manner that subsequent firm price offers and contract negotiations can seamlessly build on this development work
►Lead the negotiations with customers throughout
►Build strategic relationships resulting in agreements such as NDA's, MOU's, LOI's, JV's
►Prepare opportunity assessment providing clear insight into the strategic fit, upsides, risks and other material aspects required for a decision to pursue and how to pursue.

►Manage strategic customer relationships relevant to the opportunities being pursued
▪Energy Solutions Strategy Development
►Contribute to the regional and sector strategies by mapping and interpreting industry activities, trends and competitor behavior
►Contribute to the optimization of the opportunity portfolio (hit rate, references and profitability)
▪Market product offerings
►Lead the development and positioning of winning technology-enabled commercial offerings
►Work hand-in-hand with the LNG Technology Manager to develop leading technical solutions
▪Degree in science/engineering; advanced financial, marketing degree or MBA preferred
▪10+ years of commercial, financial and technical expertise/experience within industrial and or engineering fields
▪7+ years experience in technical sales
▪Intimate knowledge of the energy and fuels business areas
▪Strong experience in commercial proposition development relevant to target opportunities
▪Proven ability to develop partnerships & strategic alliances to promote business goals with all levels in the organization
▪Ability to develop and lead relationships with technical specialists inside and outside of Linde
▪Complex financial modeling experience and capability a must
►In addition, must be able to leverage financial capability
▪Capability of developing innovative solutions to industry/cluster/customer needs
▪Ability to identify target clusters/customers and execute their development in all respects
▪Customer management experience
▪Good understanding of technologies and their fit into internally and externally acceptable frameworks
▪Thorough understanding of profit, loss and techno-commercial risk drivers in large projects, and ability to interpret DCF models and convert their outputs into commercial offers
▪Ability to develop strategic partnerships concluding in agreements such as MOU's, LOI's, JV's
▪Well developed capability to manage complexity whether associated with geography, multiple customers, potential partners, business case structure and technical solutions
▪Possesses strong oral and written communication skills at all levels
▪Ability to influence and develop strategic relationships (both internal and external)
▪Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and improve existing processes/programs
▪Demonstrated ability to work cohesively in an international multi-cultural team environment
▪Entrepreneurial and innovative can-do-attitude
▪Market Fleet transportation industry a plus.
