Linde is currently seeking an Instrument Technician to join the team in Price, UT.
Job Responsibilities:
▪Contribute to team awareness of co-worker and personal safety through proper work habits, good housekeeping skills, and appropriate usage of personal protective equipment.
▪Contribute to site security efforts through continuous observance of site security procedures.
▪Effectively organize, plan and execute the instrumentation portion of the Preventative Maintenance in a timely and cost effective fashion with attention to detail and emphasis on making things right.
▪Respond to Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the demands set forth by time management and priority.
▪Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment calibration, work order completion history, spare parts inventory and purchasing to support internal data requirements (IMSS, Maximo, SAP) as well as external data requirements (FDA, ISO, Customer Specific requests).
▪Organize and maintain a neat, clean and orderly workspace, and contribute to these ideals throughout the site.
Minimum Qualifications:
▪5 years industrial plant experience working with instrumentation/electrical equipment.
▪2 year associates degree in instrumentation.
▪Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
▪Must be able to read & understand Process &Instrumentation Diagrams, Single Line Electrical drawings, and Instrumentation Schematics/Wiring Drawings.
▪Have a basic mechanical background and a basic understanding of machinery operations.
▪Must be familiar with Personal Computers, Programmable Logic Controller operation and control systems hierarchy and design.
▪Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interface frequently with customers (primarily internal but some external customer communication will be required).
▪Must be willing to travel for training, plant support and can sometimes be with little or no notice.
▪Must possess or be willing to acquire a working knowledge of the Air Separation Process, CO2 and other processes that are or might become part of the Rocky Mountain area of responsibility.
