Linde is currently seeking an Account Manager to join the team in Cleveland, OH.
Job Responsibilities:
▪Manages and grows sales and profitability in a territory with annual revenue of $17MM
▪Grows the territory business through solution selling of gas products and technology to new and existing customers
▪Negotiates pricing, contract terms and conditions with existing and new customers
▪Develops long term relationships with strategic customers and manages the territory customer portfolio to ensure renewal of targeted existing customers
▪Works with sales and engineering teams to diagnose customer needs and designs commercial and/or technical solutions that deliver value for the customer and Linde
▪Communicates conceptual and detailed commercial and technical information to multiple levels and functions within customer organizations including procurement, engineering, operations management, financial management, and general management
▪Aligns internal resources from operations, distribution, commercial development, and administration to support customer requirements
▪Manages operating expenses against an assigned budget
▪Supports credit department in collection of past due customer payments
▪Must be an effective closer
Minimum Qualifications:
▪Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical degree preferred
▪Must have at least 5 years of outside Technical Sales or engineering experience and knowledge of the bulk and package industrial gas business
▪Experience in application selling and or experience in selling with a value added approach
▪Successful track record managing a sales territory or branch operation
▪Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
