Job Description

BA MPG has a role to identify and share best operating practice and there is a requirement to support a number of technical aspects of the Bulk business. Principally, Bulk distribution vehicles, HP tube trailers and associated measuring and recording equipment used in the delivery of all bulk products.. This role is designed to provide engineering support across all technical areas but mainly around vehicles.
The company has identified LiMSS as the system where standards and procedure are held, one of the functions of this roles will be to populate and maintain this material working with the Deliver and fleet management teams.
Standardising equipment and procedures where appropriate is critical to this role. There is not always a single solution but we need to provide the RBUs with the best available information relative to their circumstances.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing Processes and equipment in filling Liguid tankers and HP tube trailers
• Delivering specific HPO projects around the business
• Identify the Linde Standard Truck and associated equipment specifications
• Standard HP tube trailer design requirements
• Standard maintenance processes and systems
• Requirements for various quality products- Medical, Speciality Gases/ pharmaceutical, food grades
• CAPEX Investment management and reviews
• Technical approval of suppliers.

— Technical knowledge of vehicles

— Capability to convince
— Strategic understanding

Key qualifications and experience:

— Technical university Engineering degree
— Experience in bulk liquid operations and engineering
— Experience in managing projects
— Truck and fleet engineering (not essential)
