Summer InternshipsBOC runs a summer holiday employment opportunity for undergraduate students as part of our Vacation Employment Program. The Program, which runs for approximately 12 weeks, is an opportunity to gain practical experience and obtain an inside view of possible career options. We recognise that as a student, a vacation employment placement can complement your studies as well as increase your marketability to future graduate employers. We also recognise that in some disciplines, vacation work placements may be a compulsory component of the degree program. BOC appreciates that vacation employment has many benefits for both the student and the employer. It gives you, as the student, an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned throughout your studies and provide you with "hands-on" or "real-world" experience. As the employer, it provides BOC access to talented prospective graduate recruits for our 2012 Graduate Development Programme, as well as an infusion of new and fresh ideas. Successful applicants will be based at our head office in North Ryde, NSW. You will be placed in a supportive team environment with one of our General Managers and be working on exciting projects, including the implementation of new products and processes in line with business needs. There will be plenty of opportunities to take on various challenges and to develop your networking skills across different departments within BOC. With a Summer Internship placement at BOC, the opportunities are endless. Selection CriteriaTo be considered for this opportunity you must comply with the following criteria:
