Market Development Engineer - Oil and GasBOC are seeking a suitably qualified person who has strong business acumen and sales skills to expand its services to the oil and gas industry.
This role is initially based in Queensland, with a developing national responsibility reports to the Market Manager Chemicals and Energy.
The initial phase will see the MDE building business associated with Queensland major projects and moving to other major projects as they develop. BOC is investing in major infrastructure and product supply to support the growth and development of our customers in these markets. Your role will be to develop the services in consultancy with the customer using your industry knowledge and experience.
You will lead the development of new opportunities working with the assistance of Engineers, Project Managers and Planning Managers
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years sales or related industry experience in the Oil and Gas or related industries.
Preferably tertiary qualified in mechanical or chemical engineering, science or other related discipline with a sales, business development or market development background.
