Account Manager
Chinchilla District

We are seeking an experienced, self motivated Account Manager to grow our business in the industrial market covering Chinchilla/Surat Basin & Western Downs Region.

As an Account Manager you will focus on maximizing BOC’s industrial market share for equipment, industrial gases and safety products. You will manage a diverse range of customers from various industries including mining, heavy manufacturing, energy and gas. Working closely with the sales and Gas & Gear teams you will develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure a strong performance in the region. Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Managing an existing portfolio of clients

• Winning extended business opportunities in existing customer accounts

• Negotiating supply contracts

• Delivering a high level of customer service

• Meeting and exceeding sales targets

• Building and maintaining strong inter-departmental relationships across the business

Mechanically minded with proven sales experience, you are confident dealing with people at various levels and are comfortable with corporate negotiations. Your excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen will enable you to develop solid working relationships and you will relish the chance to become a valued consultant to your customers. There is no substitute for experience so your sales background within an industrial environment along with welding knowledge will be highly beneficial to your application.
