BOC Gases Indonesia (BOCGI) was first incorporated in 1971 as Industrial Gases Indonesia (IGI), a joint venture with PT Aneka Gas Industri (Persero).
In 1995, BOC acquired 98% of IGI and in 1996 adopted the global BOC Gases name, culminating in the launch of the BOC integrated utility complex plant in Gresik, East Java, in August 2000. Since September 2006 with the acquisition of the BOC Group by The Linde Group, we are now part of the latter. The Linde Group is one of the largest and globally positioned industrial gases in the world.
Today, BOC Gases Indonesia supplies our products to more than 1,200 customers by pipeline, tankers or cylinders, with over 200 staff supporting BOC’s 24-hour operation in five different locations across Java.
